The Party Wall etc Act 1996 governs a range of work at or close to the boundary with other properties. It governs certain works to party structures, construction of new walls where there is not already a building on one side of the boundary and excavations within certain distances to other structures.
We also ensure that an accurate Schedule of Condition is provided.
Our Director is a Member of The Faculty of Party Wall Surveyors. The Faculty is an educational, non-profit making body concerning party wall matters.
We can provide initial advice and also be your statutory appointed surveyor as required under the Act.
